Privacy policy

This policy explains how Paulix Filmes LTDA, the company behind this site, handles the data of people browsing paulixfilms.com. It follows Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, Law 13.709/2018). This is an English translation provided for convenience; the Portuguese version is the official one.

What we collect

• What you send us. Name, phone/WhatsApp, city, date and event details — only when you fill in the quote form or message us on WhatsApp. When you submit the form, that information is stored in this site's own database so the request is not lost; access is restricted to Paulix Filmes LTDA's administration, behind a password.
• Browsing data. Pages visited, time on page, device type and where the visit came from, collected in aggregate by measurement tools.
• Cookies. Small files kept in your browser to remember your consent choice and allow audience measurement.

What we use it for

• Answering your quote request and keeping a record of the conversation.
• Understanding which parts of the site people look for, and improving navigation.
• Measuring which ads and which searches produced quote requests, so the advertising budget is spent better.

We do not sell, rent or pass your contact details to third parties.

Google measurement and advertising

This site shows no advertising. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand where visits come from and Google Ads to measure which of our own ads produced contacts — no third-party advertising is displayed here.

• No measurement cookie is written before you accept the notice on your first visit. Until then Google runs in restricted mode and does not identify you.
• If you decline, nothing is written and the site works normally.
• You can adjust ad personalisation in your Google ad settings.
• To erase the recorded choice, clear this site's data in your browser — the notice appears again on your next visit.

Our own visit counter

Besides Google, the site keeps a simple count of its own, so we know how many people arrive and by which route. It is anonymous by design:

• It writes no cookie and does not store your IP address.
• It records only: the page opened, where you came from (search engine, social network, ad or direct), your browser's time zone, whether you are on a phone or a computer, and how many seconds the page stayed open.
• The identifier that groups the pages of one visit lives only in the tab's memory and disappears when you close the browser — you cannot be recognised on a future visit.
• Because it identifies nobody, this count also works for people who decline the cookie notice. Records are deleted after one year.

Who we share with

Only the services needed for the site to work: hosting, Google Analytics and Google Ads (measurement) and, when you submit the form, WhatsApp or the e-mail service used to receive the message.

How long we keep it

Contact details from quote requests are kept for as long as the negotiation lasts and, after that, for the period required by legal and tax obligations. Browsing data is kept in aggregate form.

If you want your quote request deleted before that, just ask by e-mail below — we erase the record completely.

Your rights

At any time you may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymisation, portability or deletion of your data, and withdraw the consent given for cookies. Write to [email protected] — we reply within 15 days.

Controlling cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Clearing this site's data makes the consent notice appear again on your next visit.
